Management believes the wholly-owned Blue Moon deposit is an exceptional zinc-silver asset that has near-term potential to advance to production. The Blue Moon project had modest production during the Second World War (56,000 tons at 12% zinc) and Boliden, one of Europe’s largest base metals producers, did advanced stage work during the 1980s with a goal of putting the project into production. Our management team, who own roughly 20% of the company, intend to finish what Boliden started. Our team includes members who permitted, built or restarted significant mines in California. Lawrence O’Connor restarted the Mesquite mine as VP Operations of Western Goldfield (now owned by Equinox Gold). The Company also owns 100% of the Yava project which is on strike to Glencore’s Hackett River deposit.
